How It Works
Push-Lock® Fittings are installed by hand, to avoid the need to swage fittings in the field. Cables are supplied a little longer than necessary, with tensioners on one end and bare cable on the other end. The tensioners are installed on one end post, then the cables are cut to final length. The Push-Lock® with threaded eye Fittings are attached to the end post with a tab on the inside of the post. The cables are then pushed into the Push-Lock® Fittings by hand. The cables are tensioned, to complete the installation.

The Push-Lock® with threaded eye fittings are used on angled or level runs. They mount to Lag Eyes or Threaded Tabs in the end post. For wood applications, Also order P/N 20HLE4 Lag Eye and for Metal applications, order P/N 20HTT4 Threaded Tab.

If you are installing the Push-Lock® fittings in a metal railing, see Metal Railings / Hardware Mounting Holes / Boring Guide for boring instructions for your end post.

If you are using wood end posts, see Wood Railings-Mounting Alternatives for hole sizes and depths.
