Cable Art Inc. offers the most advanced Barrier Cable System available. It is the first and only system that enables the use of encapsulations and shop prefabrication giving our customers the freedom to work in the most effective manner possible.

this Barrier Cable System provides standard or encapsulated coated barrel anchors, a barrier cable system that can be contained within a column or exposed on the column's exterior, and fully enclosed intermediate tension coupler when barriers strand ends are inaccessible.

The Barrier Cable System can be used through a column or external to the column and consists of the following anchorages allowing a complete barrier cable system with a variety of optional anchorage configurations.

• BCS Barrel Anchors and BCS Wedges that can be exposed or encapsulated and are zinc-coated. Encapsulation caps com in concrete gray color - custom cap colors are available by special order.

• BCS Barrier Cable System for end anchorages at concrete columns, either contained within the column or exposed on column's exterior. The system used BCS Barrel Anchors with spring-loaded wedges for interior of column; a special plate assembly can accommodate up to a 6-degree offset for ramps and special details. A special plate with holes machined at 4" centers allows for code specified alignment for barrier stands.

• An intermediate BCS Tensioning Coupler allows tensioning of the barrier strands when the ends are inaccessible. A floating device allows for tensioning of the strands and a special cap stops moisture from entering the system.

• The BCS Stressing-End Coupler employs similar concept to the tensioning coupler but is contained within the column. It also comes with a special plate with holes machined at 4" centers.
